14th December 2021 Wing Boarding: Llanfairfechan Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F4/F5 Surf / Sea State: Chop Air Temperature: 10.5 Sea Temperature: 9 Weather: Sun Max Speed: Distance Covered: Wind quite strong for me on 5.3m but still pleased to fly every attempt with maybe half mile runs before deciding getting a bit far out so may as well try a gybe, still nowhere near getting them in. Started using middle handle at back and flying wing higher, both getting more comfortable. Quite gusty so lots of adjusting wing and feet, most of which worked until wind got too much so went kitesurfing. Good fun but think I'll find gybing hard as don't get switch stance in windsurfing, though can do in kitesurfing. |
